August 24th – 26th, 2007 MAZDA LAGUNA SECA RACEWAY CHARITY EVENT POC TIME TRIAL EVENT #5 & CUP RACES #9 & #10 Available for download at: www.porscheownersclub.org CHARITY EVENT: This year’s charity will benefit Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Hope For a Cure Guild in partnership with the POC will host a Post Race Celebration on Saturday with food, bar, live auction, and raffle. Parade laps will be available on Saturday during lunchtime with all proceeds going to JDRF.Sound Limit: 92dbA @ 50 ft. limit is strictly enforced by the track officials, sorry no exceptions. Registration: Limited to the first 105 accepted, complete, and paid entries by July 15 th, 2007Garages: Available on a first come first serve basis, so don’t delay! These garages are only $150 per space.Paddock Entry : There will be a one-time $10 per person entry fee charged at paddock entrance.Check-In Registration: Pre-Registration will be available at the track on Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Registration at the track opens @ 7:00 am Friday & Saturday, in the paddock building adjacent to Turn 1.Thursday: August 23 : Gate opens @ 5 :00 pm for paddock entry and setup. 24 hr security will be in place.Friday: August 24 : Registration opens @ 7:00 am, Driver’s Meeting @ 8:00 am, track hot @ 9:00 am.Saturday: August 25 : Registration opens @ 7:00 am, Driver’s Meeting @ 8:00 am, track hot @ 9:00 am.Qualifications: This event requires POC or PRC membership and a 2007 POC Competition License for all drivers. If you are a licensed driver with another Club, you may be eligible to enter the POC Time Trial Series and/or the Cup Races. Tech will be provided at the track on Fri. & Sat. mornings by Michael Essa of Tech Trix Motorsports.Brake pads : It is highly recommended that you bring extra brake pads as Laguna Seca is very hard on brakes.This is a problem that arises without fail every year for those who are not adequately prepared!
